Hantverkargatan 1, 111 52 Stockholm, Sweden

Stockholm City Hall was erected in 1911-1923 using red brick frequently seen in Scandinavian countries.

It is the symbol of Stockholm and one of the brightest representatives of the National Romantic style. The architect Ragnar Östberg was inspired by the The Doge’s Palace in Venice and brought golden stars to the turrets and wooden masts to the shape of the Stadhouse.

Interior is adorned with the masterpieces of the famous Swedish artists such as Carl Malmsten and Einar Forseth. It also includes one of the largest organs in Northern Europe.
