L’Oceanogràfic Valencia is an oceanarium located in Valencia, Spain🇪🇸
It is the largest complex of its kind in Europe, with over 110,000 square meters of exhibition space and 42 million liters of water.
The Oceanogràfic is home to over 500 different marine species from all over the world, including dolphins, beluga whales, sea lions, penguins, sharks, rays, and many kinds of fish. It is divided into different thematic areas, such as the Mediterranean, the Red Sea, the Arctic, and the Antarctic.
In addition to its exhibitions, the Oceanogràfic also has a research and conservation program aimed at protecting marine life and promoting sustainable development. MAR (Marine Animal Research) is a Oceanogràfic Foundation research programme led by Dr Andreas Fahlman. Its purpose is to improve scientific knowledge about oceans and the life that lives in them.
RULES
- Once the projection has started, access to the theatre is not permitted (*). Access with a ticket is essential. It is recommended to arrive 10 minutes in advance.
- Due to the characteristics of the films, children under 4 years old are not permitted to access the theatre.
- It is not permitted to stand or remain standing during the projection.
- In case of dizziness, it is recommended to remove the glasses and keep your eyes closed for a moment.
- Contact our personnel in the theatre for placement of wheelchairs.
- Audio/image recording is not permitted without authorisation from the company.
- The glasses must be returned to personnel when leaving the room.
- In case of emergency, follow the instructions of personnel.
- The projection of films is subject to modifications due to organisational reasons.
