Forum Coimbra is a large, bright and beautiful shopping centre.
It is integrated on the Santa Clara plateau, on the left side of Mondego river in Coimbra, Portugal.
Forum Coimbra is not just another shopping mall, it’s an experience.

It’s a colorful mall with contemporary architecture and a nice view of Mondego river.  Similarly, from its external terraces and the food court there’s an exuberant view over the city of Coimbra. The mall opened April 26, 2006. It has 48,000 m2 of gross rent out area and is divided into three floors, containing 147 stores [including Primark, Zara, H&M, Fnac, and Mango], 6 Cinemas – Cinemas NOS, Continente hypermarket, served by a catering area with over 31 restaurants and eateries, a gym, pharmacies, banks and 2579 parking spaces.

It’s a good place for shopping because it consists of different shops for everyone’s budget and taste. Furthermore, it also encompasses a Crazy Bowling, a space marked out for bowling, together with a great gaming zone. The mall links with a park outside for kids as well as nice decorations that make it look alluring, especially at night.
This is a space where you can find the best that consumption has to offer to those who cultivate a lifestyle with good urban, new and cosmopolitan taste and seek proposals for occupation and leisure that are always up-to-date. It is the biggest shopping center in the city and the Center region, with the Alma Shopping center being the second largest in Coimbra.

Arriving at the mall is quite easy as you can get to there either by bus, night bus, taxi or foot.

It’s definitely a must-visit when in Coimbra.

Tips when visiting:

Avoid rush hours or Sunday because it gets so crowded and there are limited spaces at the food court.
