Senhor Da Pedra is one of the most visited beaches throughout the year because of the natural and historical heritage associated with it.  It is a center of traditional pilgrimages in Vila Nova De Gaia, which takes place on the beaches on Holy Trinity Sunday. It feels like the chapel sometimes bathes in sand. On other days it is surrounded by seawater like an almost unreachable island in the Atlantics. Finally, it is a highly recommended place to visit for tourist in Vila Nova de Gaia if you explore Porto Region.
